Family-owned and operated since 1948, our company has teamed on many notable Orlando area projects, old and new. In the process we have developed a strong reputation and long-lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors across Central Florida.

Today, we are honored to carry on the legacy of our father, grandfather and founder, Jack Jennings, who emphasized the principles of providing quality services at a fair price for satisfied clients.

As the third generation of Jennings family members rises into leadership roles, we continue to exceed client expectations with an enthusiastic level of innovation and contemporary craftsmanship. From pre-construction through completion, each project stays on track and on budget thanks to a high-performing team of building professionals — many of whom have been with us for more than 20 years.

Currently serving as Chairman of the Board for Jack Jennings & Sons, Toni Jennings is lauded for her groundbreaking role as Florida’s first female Lieutenant Governor from 2003 until 2007. After serving as President of Jack Jennings & Sons from 1988 to 2003, she continues to bolster the firm with her extensive management, insurance, bonding, financial accounting and human relations expertise.

Jeff Jennings

Jeff contributes his 40+ years of construction expertise to continuing the tradition of excellence his father began in 1948. While the company's portfolio encompasses a variety of commercial projects, Jeff's focus has been primarily municipal, multi-family and design/build developments. Jeff graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Civil Engineering. His passion for community is reflected in the number of non-profit organizations in which Jeff contributes his time and talent. He currently serves as Board Chair of Advent Health's Cardiovascular Institute and Boy Scouts of America Central Florida Council's Golden Eagle Awards Chair. He has served on the Boards of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando & Osceola County, Junior Achievement Foundation and American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk. He is past president of Boy Scouts of America Central Florida Council, Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), Central Florida Builder's Exchange and Country Club of Orlando. John Jennings

Vice President
Drawing from more than 40 years of construction experience, John provides expertise and leadership through every project phase. A highly respected figure in the industry, he served as President of the Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. at both the state and national levels. A University of Florida graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering, he holds a Florida Certified General Contractor License No. CGC014159.


Jack Jennings

Project Manager
Jack gained his initial experience at JJS during summer breaks while attending the University of Florida. After graduating cum laude, he joined the firm as a project engineer responsible for submittals, RFIs, scheduling, project close-out documents, and cost accounting. He also holds a Florida Certified General Contractor License No. CGC1529009.

Michael Jennings

Project Manager
A 2016 University of Florida graduate with a BA in Economics, Michael holds both a Certified General Contractors License No. CGC1528855 and a Real Estate Sales Associate License in the State of Florida. In addition to his role as a Finance Administrator, he also serves as a Project Engineer for JJS.

Colin Jennings

Project Engineer
Colin graduated from the University of Florida’s venerable Rinker School of Construction Management in 2019. As a Project Engineer, he assists the Project Team with updating project schedules, provides project communication coordination between the Design Team and the Project Superintendent, creates Requests for Information (RFIs), handles submittals, obtains building permits and assists project accounting with monthly subcontractor pay applications. He is also responsible for maintaining cost reporting logs, including Owner Potential Change Orders (OPCOs) and Contingency logs. Colin excels by blending his field expertise with technological skills in RedTeam Project Management, Microsoft Project and Bluebeam.
